(Aspergers, Autism Syndrome Coalition for Education, and Networking and Development) Facilitates meetings where adults on the spectrum, along with family, friends, and professionals, work to promote education, employment, networking, and development. One specific group, the Job Club, has been created especially for people who want to prepare employment by learning and practicing job search skills and enhancing executive function processing, social practices, and communication. |

Supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live more independently and engage in the community. Participants learn life skills and can participate in a variety of programs, including employment, health and wellness, and residential services. |
![]() ACHILLES INTERNATIONAL
San Francisco Chapter Achilles International empowers people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream running events in order to promote personal achievement. The SF chapter of Achilles International hosts bi-monthly runs for people of all abilities and fitness levels (usually - first Saturdays at Embarcadero and third Saturdays at Ocean Beach). Athletes are paired with a trained guide, and you can run, jog, or walk as long as you want to. Can't make it to the SF workouts? Achilles SF has guides throughout the Bay Area (it's free!). San Francisco ASD Center Provides in-depth developmental screening and assessment and clinical consultation by a multidisciplinary team. ![]() Outpatient Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic at Oakes Children’s Center Offers socialization groups, individual therapy, and family support for children and young adults with autism or other social-cognitive challenges. |

Parent's Place offers the Support Group for Parents of Children with Autism to give parents the chance to make new friends and learn about resources in the area. The group is free and meets once a month. ![]() Jewish Family and Children's Services
JFCS offers one of the most comprehensive programs for individuals with disabilities and their families and caregivers. Their broad range of services include information and referrals, advocacy, case management, counseling, and the Gary Shupin Independent Living Community and Shupin Social Club, which offers regular social activities for young adults. |

A nonprofit that provides community-based mental health services with an emphasis on serving Asian & Pacific Islander Americans. Offerings include vocational programs and residential facilities, with services provided in over 30 languages. ![]() Support for Families of Children with Disabilities

Offers state-of-the-art, evidence-based, comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support for people with ASD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. The STAR Center also provides parent support and helps them to connect with local resources. |
