Autism can bring joy and delight, it can bring grief and worry, but it can also bring lots of laughs. Personally, I think if we can't find the humor in the midst of our many challenges, we're in big, huge trouble. So I'm glad to announce that Comedian Kirk Smith, a Los Angeles-based father of a son with autism, will be presenting “This is Crazy: A Comedy Show About Autism,” February 20 at 7pm in Palo Alto. Fifty percent of the ticket proceeds will be donated to local participating autism nonprofits, including Autism Society San Francisco Bay Area!
At the show, Kirk will be joined by radio legend and local autism dad Peter Finch, host of the podcast, the Finch Files, and comedian autism mom Regina Stoops. Kirk co-hosts the weekly podcast “Autastic,” the "Comedian's Guide to Autism" along with co-host Graham Kay. Take a listen!
