
Autism Hiking Club: Wunderlich County Park, Sunday, June 14 11am
What: 3.2-ish mile hike at Wunderlich Park, Woodside
4040 Woodside Rd, Woodside, CA 94062
When: 11am at the picnic tables by the parking lot. There are only two handicap parking space in the lot, so if full, you may need to park on Portola Road and walk into the park via the driveway. Plan to arrive by 10.45am to meet at 11. The hike will leave promptly at 11, so allow plenty of time.
To get there: Take Woodside Road west from Interstate 280 and continue about two miles from the town of Woodside. Watch for the park entrance on the right between Bear Gulch and La Honda roads.
Route: Alambique trail, to Meadow trail to Salamander Flat. Then descend Madrone trail, to Loop trail, back to parking area. Assuming some slow walkers, should take max of two hours. Elevation gain of about 500 feet.

Tips: Hiking boots not generally necessary. Porta-potty in parking area. Drinking fountain in parking area. There are some tables so feel free to bring a post-hike lunch. FREE
